Luca Marziani was born in 1979 in Civita Castellana (Viterbo). The first success of his youth career was the bronze medal at the Italian Juniores Championships (with Orame II), followed by the silver medal at the Young Rider Italian Championships (on Amante della Quercia). Since then, Luca Marziani has signed numerous important individual international placings and has contributed to 5 team medals in the Nations Cup in the last 3 years. Since 2011 he is a fundamental element of the first Italian team. In 2012, he became Leading Aircraftman of Air force and in the same period he was recognized by the Italian Federation of Equestrian Sports as federal instructor for sporting merit. Currently he is the Technical Director at SIR La Farnesina, the Roman Horse Racing Society and the oldest horse riding school in Rome, besides his competitive activity.
